The location was fantastic, close to the central station and surrounded by delightful cafes and shops. We also enjoyed a visit to the nearby stylish casino, which was a treat for everyone. The staff was accommodating, especially with our elderly parents.
My wife says that the stairs were quite a challenge for us and our parents. It would be great if there were more accessible options for families.

the location is awesome, right in the center and super close to the train station. the staff were really friendly and made check-in a breeze. loved having a hot shower after a long day exploring. the shared facilities were always clean and well-kept which was a nice plus. the six-bed dorm felt spacious enough and had lockers for my stuff.
the stairs are super steep and not fun with heavy luggage. also, the room got kinda stuffy at night, could use better ventilation.

Check-in and check-out were super friendly. The 3rd floor had those classic narrow, steep steps typical of local architecture. They felt like a challenge, but I considered it part of the cultural experience. I stayed in a six-person, three-bunk room that felt spacious. Each bunk had a locker with a key, needing a 10-euro deposit, which was returned at checkout. My top bunk faced the window, but the electric socket was a little awkwardly placed. The bed was clean with fresh sheets. I loved the hot shower, especially after getting caught in the rain. One downside was the washroom door. it barely had any space when opened and was a bit cramped when sitting down. The bathroom setup didn't feel very practical for anyone over 170 cm. I shared this room with five other chaps who were friendly and respectful. While I missed the availability of a kitchen for preparing meals, I really liked the atmosphere. for those needing elevators or who struggle with stairs, this might not be the right place. Hotel Jesse has definitely become my favorite after this stay.

The hot shower was such a lifesaver after long days exploring, and the twin room was cozy and tidy. I really loved the peaceful lounge area for winding down and the small garden for a quick breather. Just keep in mind that the staircase can be a bit narrow with luggage. 😊
